Journaling is one of those things that I so wish I could do more but never seem to have the time or the discipline to keep it up. There are so many journaling apps out there that is nearly overwhelming on which app to choose.

In This Post

I have tried several and time after time it is not quite the right one. The latest one I have tried might have a better chance. It is called the 5 minute journal and has a few prompts an opportunity to add a photo.

5 Minute Journal

The app requests you go twice a day to journal once in the morning to start your day and once at night to end your day. In the morning the app has prompts about three things you are grateful about which is a great way to start the day. The evening prompt asks for reflections of what happened and what could have been done better.

Photo a Day Bonus

As a bonus for those who like to keep a photo of the day the app has a place to add this daily as well.

This might just be the golden gem for me in journaling apps. Download from the App Store and let me know what you think.

Paper Journal Options

If you are more of a paper kind of person, Amazon offers various book form 5 minute journaling books as well.
