As mompreneurs, we all got a lot of balls in the air. Reading books to improve our education can be hard but podcasts can often be an incredible source of content and can be played in the car, while cooking dinner, getting kids dressed, and everywhere. These are the top 8 podcasts to listen to as a mompreneur.

In This Post

My new daily routine includes hours in the van while driving around my kiddos for errands or school or activities. One of the best things about this is that while they get their fill of Paw Patrol or Octonauts, I can listen to podcasts of ladies who I adore and want to be when I grow up. Whether it is in parenting (because truthfully I have no clue what I am doing) or business (making it up as I go there too!), there is such a wealth of information out there that we can listen to. I love listening to the podcasts because I feel like I have an instant friend in the person talking even if I have never met them before.

Blogging Podcasts

Just Keep Blogging

Just Keep Blogging

The Just Keep Blogging podcast has a regular dose of motivation, concrete tips, and all things blogging. I like the down to earth advice and plenty of “how-to” for money-making tips.

There is a lot of encouragement to bloggers, online content creators, and mamas to keep going when the overwhelming confusion, and fatigue take over.

Her episodes are consistent with her last episode airing before the holidays in November.

Boss Mom – Podcast

Boss Mom Podcast

This is one of the first podcasts that I got addicted to! I am part of the Facebook group Dana Malstaff has, met a friend in that FB group who ended up moving to the same city and started listening to the podcast and I am in love. Dana interviews for the most part other mompreneurs and talks to them about their journey and how they are contributing. It is such an inspiring podcast.

It is a great starter podcast to get hooked into especially if you are in her Facebook group and want to get to know Dana better. She reaches out to moms in all stages of raising their business and family and it feels like she is sitting right next to you sharing a cup of coffee.

Dana releases an episode about once a week and has started releasing already for 2020.

Be The Ultimate Affiliate

Be the Ultimate Affiliate

One of the best ways to grow your profit with a blog is to be an affiliate for products and companies that you love. The issue with this is that often we feel too much like we are just yucky salespeople. The folks at Ultimate Bundles know how to do affiliate marketing and they share all the secrets.

If you are an affiliate for products or want to take your blog to the next level with some affiliate marketing this is the podcast that you have to listen to.

Parenting Podcasts

Mom Is In Control Podcast

Mom is In Control Podcast

This podcast came at just the right time when I was looking for all kinds of business podcasts, but really needed some more inspiration in my parenting. Heather Chauvin discusses wanting more in motherhood, and being a conscious parent supporting their children’s emotional needs and still having the life they love.

The Mom is in Control podcast airs a number of times per week and is going strong in 2020.

Growing Our Family – Parenting Edition

Growing Our Family Parenting Edition

Brittany discusses parenting topics of all types. She has another podcast about pregnancy and the parenting podcast goes beyond pregnancy. Parenting is hard, mommying is hard and there are so much research and so many choices that have to be made. Brittany brings in experts to talk about these topics and give you a weekly dose of all the options on all things parenting.

Happier with Gretchen Rubin

Happier with Gretchen Rubin

One cool thing about podcasts is that if they do interviews with others you find out about new podcasts and new books. My favorite gal, Rachel Hollis, interviewed Gretchen Rubin in episode 106: How to Change Your Mindset with Gretchen Rubin. I heard this episode and I was obsessed.

I had to know more about Gretchen Rubin and about her books and podcast. I listened to her book, The Four Tendencies, and started listening to her podcast. Her podcasts cover small tangible ideas for happiness and include longer episodes and shorter ones that are only a couple of minutes longer if you don’t have time for an hour episode one day.

She co-hosts with her sister, Elizabeth Craft who is a TV writer and producer in Los Angeles. It’s a fun podcast that will bring up your spirit any day of the week.

My Favorite Podcast

RISE Podcast with Rachel Hollis

Rise Podcast with Rachel Hollis

I have written about Rachel Hollis before. It is no secret that I am a huge fangirl of this mama of four and a new Texan. One of these days I am going to run into her at the grocery store and be in love!

This podcast is different from others because this mama has fully made it. She has a whole line of products in Target, she has a podcast, several books, and a multimillionaire company. She is not just starting out or growing.

Still this podcast I think is so important because she did start from somewhere. I read her early books and was inspired just with these. I also ready Girl Wash Your Face and Girl, Stop Apologizing. She is just super inspiring while also down to earth in her tips and tricks. She brings in a fair number of male guests as well and connects so well with all of her guests. She covers so many topics it is not just one topic focused. Everything from tech, products, friendships, relationships, health and conquering walking across Antarctica.

These business interviewees have all been at the starting line and they offer listeners with real-life concrete takeaways.
