The Nintendo Switch is something that can be enjoyed by a lot of age levels. We purchased one as a family gift last year and although it hasn’t been used a lot this year, it will for sure get use more and more in the years to come. I love the active games as well that get the kiddos up and moving.

Make Believe / Dress-Up
From a young age, kids want to be just like mom and dad. That means dressing up and playing make-believe is a big winner. Whether its the medical set, a toolset, a makeup bag, and purse, or the lawnmower, these toys will bring hours of imaginary play.

I truly believe that all toys are educational in a way because kids learn so much through play. These toys though go the extra mile and are focused on just specific learning goals. Learning goals at this age include colors and color sorting, drawing, shapes, and fine motor skills. These will have kids entertained while they are learning specific skills.
Building Toys
Both boys are very much into building things these days. They love their Duplos and Legos. Building sparks creativity and imagination as well as practicing fine motor skills. From large blocks to magnetic pieces and traditional legos.
