2022
Parent FAIL, we did not take great photos this year. We had a low key holiday, heart pizza and a movie. Valentine’s Day landed in between two big freezes that shut down the city, first on February 2-3, and then on February 24th.
No pandemic and with the boys in school, the Mompreneur Valentine did not have quite as many outings or activities. Valentine’s Day becomes a day to remember our love for each other and a pause to enjoy some time together as a family. We managed to get one photo of the goof-balls being themselves just like any other day!
2021
What a crazy year 2020 ended up being. I just realized that Valentine’s Day was just about the last holiday we have celebrated being “normal.” Little did we know what was coming our way. Valentine’s is on Sunday, so we celebrated all weekend, starting with Pizza on Friday and Robot Valentine’s. We surprised the boys with a few new goodies on Sunday morning. Then we made scones, eggs, and sausage for Brunch.

We had a super fun day filled with a lot of activities. First, the big boy had his swimming lesson, then we went to Little Land for his speech therapy and last we went to Almost Grown Play Cafe for their Cupid Craft Party. It was quite the day. We all came home exhausted!!

2017
My big boy’s first Valentine’s Day. We did a special photoshoot!
At two months shy of being a year, we ventured out and had fun with all the activities around town! Just my Valentine and Mom! From Origami at Terra Toys to the Round Rock Library party, there was a lot to do!
The Terra Toys Origami event was so much fun. I have never been to Terra Toys and we had a blast! highly recommended if you are in the Austin area and want to just play a bit in an awesome toy store (oh and they have a cafe with awesome coffee, ice cream, and sweets)! This event was geared for Valentine’s Day so they were showing the kids how to make valentine hearts with origami. Then they had stickers stamps and all kinds of decorations for the kids to use to decorate. I love how the event lasted two hours so there was plenty of time to get everyone in that wanted to do the craft! We got there after #technobaby’s nap and didn’t have to wait long before they were helping us out.
Last little bit of cuteness, we got some balloons for some friends and boy did this guy love it!
